Project Management

The Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) defines project management as the application of knowledge, skills, tools and techniques to project activities to meet project requirements. This defines the "what” of project management but knowing this is not enough to run a successful project. Projects are made up of people with different personalities and skills working collaboratively towards a set outcome within a fixed budget and timeline.

At Elevate Consulting our approach to project management recognizes that it is how the knowledge, skills, tools, and techniques are applied that makes all the difference. We use proven project management methodology underpinned by a strong focus on collaboration, facilitation, communication and team management. As well as manage projects, our Project Management Professionals (PMPs) have been teaching a PMI certified Project Management course for the last decade to hundreds of individuals, in Canada and Europe. Our approach is business focused and is based on achieving specific business objectives using a tightly controlled scope. We facilitate the transfer of our knowledge wherever and whenever possible to our clients.
